Aromas of smoky bacon fat, leather and dark cherry compote, lifted by raspberry, chocolate and dried rosemary. On the palate, stemmy tomato leaf notes slice through savoury layers, carried by a lean yet robust structure. Rhône-like in style, crunchy and sinewy, amazingly balanced and built for its modest 11.5% alcohol. A flyweight boxer with a solid punch. Enjoy now or cellar to 2035.
