Cooper Burns Museum Release Barossa Valley Shiraz 2013

Good luck finding many wines of this age hitting the shelves, so kudos to the team here for undertaking the ageing. 1,000 cases made. The colour is very impressive for a wine of this age, a dark maroon. A mature and slightly complex nose with notes of tobacco leaves, chocolate, red fruits and beef stock. A supple texture with fine tannins and a lingering, persistent finish. Attractive now but it still has a good five to six years ahead of it. Good stuff!
