Curtis Family Pasha McLaren Vale Shiraz 2018

Share

The Curtis family have made a name for themselves in recent years by crafting traditionally styled McLaren Vale Shiraz – big, bold and chewy wines with lavish oak that are crowd pleasers. The hot 2018 vintage is ideal for the style and has turned out another blockbuster here. This wine is big in every way – deeply coloured with powerful fruit supported by a fair whack of oak, at least part of which is American. Blueberry, blackberry and chocolate fruits are here in spades. It’s then ripe and tannic on the palate with dense fruit which shows attractive length. A meat and potatoes kind of wine for a cold Winter night.
