Dewey Station The Mars Express Shiraz 2022

Share

This young Barossa fellow has a tight nose, tight as a too-tight gentleman bowtie, to begin with. Then, it slowly undoes, showing notes of boysenberries, blackberries, black currants, milk chocolate and vanilla. The palate is fruitful yet doesn’t forget that bitter imprint from the exuberant, young tannins. Alcohol is well-composed until it makes a faint appearance at the end. Then it’s all of that: charcoaled barrels and phenolic bitterness. It will mature into an elegant, respectable gentleman.
