Evans & Tate Wild Cape Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Share

Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with a sliver of Malbec. A portion of the Cabernet was racked to new French oak hogsheads, around 15% new oak in the final blend. It’s a witches brew of spice and dark red and black fruits. Black figs, boysenberry and dark cherries. Adzuki bean, bitter chocolate and carob. Oak shows in cedar, maple toffee and cinchona bark. Juicy on the palate with savoury oak tannins.  A lot here for the price.
