Fearon Wines Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Share

Kiwi, apple drops, lime custard – can we get more Sauvignon Blancs in this style, please? Wild-fermented, unfiltered, and carrying an obnoxious amount of weight. I like it. None of that skinny, grassy stuff here – this is full-noise, dialled-up and unapologetic. Chamomile, yoghurt, tangerine oil, sage and citrus peel. A varietal expression with no safety net. The finish is long with a touch of confection, yet, plenty of minerality to handle it. Sauvignon Blanc might be Fearon’s secret weapon. Drink responsibly whilst listening to RnB.
