We’ve seen Tempranillo’s fruity and approachable side. Here, Fishbone offers the other side of the coin, the serious side where structure, a lovely freshness of red fruits, savouriness and a growing intensity rule. It’s a smart wine. Red berries, black cherries, plum, red liquorice, earth and spice aromas. The palate is nicely structured, tightly focused and coiled. It’s got real potential for further ageing. Tannins are key to this wine, fine cut, providing the guiding structure. The gentle spice scattered across the palate is lively and tickles the taste buds. Finish is cherry pip dry.
