Frankland Estate Olmo’s Reward 2020

This beautifully composed and stylish Frankland River blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvedre and Malbec is deeply coloured and delivers of powerful and refined core of blackcurrant, dried herb aromas with leafy cedar and inky complexity. Bone dry, there is impressive structure on show with gravelly tannins to support layers of dark berry fruits. Young and brooding, it remains compact and is yet to build volume but its impressive sheer power, balance and length suggest a long life of drinking pleasure ahead.
