Gundog Estate M Burton Shiraz 1

Share

This eponymous release from Matt Burton of Gundog Estate is worthy of his name. An innovator in the Hunter Valley, while always ensuring tradition is acknowledged.  The wine is a blend of 2018 and 2019 vintages but is definitely more than the sum of its parts. Masterfully blended spiced and bright shiraz fruit, this powerful release is layered, supple, generous and elegant. The evocative palate glides like quicksilver and weaves a complex tapestry and delights without exception. A benchmark release for a good reason.
