Henschke Peggy’s Hill Eden Valley Riesling 2020

Share

Peggy’s Hill is Henschke’s entry-level riesling with classic Eden Valley restraint and is made for early drinking. This vintage has good colour and displays some impressive intensity of pure riesling fruits. There is fragrant bath salts and lime zest with a lip-smacking stony edge. It is then dry, with moderate rather than high acid thanks to the vintage and carries an attractive, food-friendly textural richness. Finishing with good concentration and length, match it up with snapper pie for a good night in.
