Hugh Hamilton The Disrupter McLaren Vale Grenache 2022

Share

Estate grown Grenache and carrying McLaren Vales trademark exotic perfume right out of the glass comes this 2022 The Disrupter Grenache. Budding violets, hibiscus and bay leaf plus the alluring aroma of red toffee apples from your local mum and pop produce store – the ones you begged your parents for. The wine promises an assembly of red and black berries and delivers in full. Black olive skin, crushed Schezuan flowers and a terra cotta like baked clay on the finish. It’s alive with bright fruit tones, earthy minerality and suede like tannins – a poised Vale Grenache. Drink with slow cooked lamb pie or on its own right before dinner and feel free to ruin your appetite.
