Juniper Canvas Fiano 2022

Share

This Fiano from Juniper’s Karridale vineyard in Margaret River is a vibrant white from vines whose DNA has been directly traced to the historic Fiano di Avellino from Campania in Italy’s south. This Aussie version sings with an exotic nose of almond peel, herbs in the sun and sandalwood, and there’s a mineral core to the palate alongside an element of richness from a portion matured in older oak for six months – the texture is what it adds, as the flavours are clean and fruit-pure with a lemon zesty zing that lingers. Savoury and saline, and a worthy match for spaghetti vongole. Vegan-friendly too.
