Kilikanoon Duke Grenache 2022

The high-toned florals and red fruits of Grenache are immediately apparent on the nose. This is a delightful example of what is being produced with this variety in Australia these days. It’s distinctly fruit-driven, but with subtle integrated oak and fine tannin support. There’s a slightly earthy, floral damp earthiness about the palate which is most appealing, but then the bright lifted florals and red fruit notes pick up and take over. Everything in its place, and a beautiful example of Clare Grenache.
