The wonderful light touch that is Grenache is fully on display with this cracking good wine. Sourced from old bush vines in Watervale it bursts open with a spicy cinnamon and cherry combo in the nose. It’s highly scented and immediately captures your attention. Has a soft texture with a body that is slightly more medium than full, yet it sure packs plenty into its elegantly poised frame. Integrated chalky tannins and savory oak sit harmoniously with the fruit. Trace of iron filings on the finish completes a very good wine.
