Knappstein Cabernet Malbec 2023

A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Malbec, the fruit comes from estate vineyards in the north of the Clare Valley. Dark magenta in colour, the nose exhibits notes of black fruits, cloves, licorice, animal skins and black olives. Of medium to good length, it finishes with fine tannins and even a touch of austerity. A mid-weight wine with a lingering finish that will provide pleasure for the next six to eight years.
