Little Giant Single Vineyard Barossa Valley Shiraz 2019

Share

Don’t let the wombat put you off – this is a very serious Barossa Valley Shiraz made with fruit off a single vineyard from the Light Pass sub-region at the Northern end of the valley.

It it deeply coloured and a good example of the modern Barossan style with lashings of fruit and oak coming together in a dangerously drinkable package. There are layers of blackberry jam, dried spices and baked earth plus some significant but not overdone oak. In the mouth it is fleshy, rich and balanced with plenty of mature tannins well integrated with ripe fruit before a long and supple finish. A good wine that will impress fans of the Barossa, and age well too.
