Marnong Estate Heart Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2025

Share

From the estate’s most central vineyard. Dark spice and earth mark the beginnings before a deeper fruit profile emerges in blood plum and dark cherry. Flickers of camphor and a graphite minerality build with air, adding shape and dimension alongside an unfurling of clove-studded orange. The palate follows suit in its deeper, darker aesthetic — blood plum, clove, blood orange, dark cherry, graphite, dried violet. The tannins are firm and tight-grained, putting a corset around it all and drawing good length along with black fruit-laced acidity. Never weighty, but with a brooding sensibility balanced by solid complexity, minerality and structure. Nicely done.
