Nietschke by Kalleske Harry GSM 2018

The Kalleske clan have a long and proud history in the Barossa which gives them plenty of experience to source the best quality fruit. Their style is traditional Barossa but in a dense and ripe style, as is found in this GSM.

Deeply coloured the aromas are sweet and generous – mulberry, baked earth and dried spices are well blended with some sweet oak. The palate is then dry, mid-weight and supple with buckets of flavour now also showing some attractive aged, earthy complexity. Long and supple, it is a crowd-pleaser for sure and deceptively complex given time to open up in the glass. Enjoy with lamb backstraps.
