O’Leary Walker Grenache Shiraz Nero d’Avola 2022

Share

Say adieu to GSM and ciao to GSN. The inclusion of the über-friendly Italian, Nero d’Avola, into a traditional red blend incorporating Grenache and Shiraz is truly inspirational. Hats off to the O’Leary and Walker families. It’s fragrant – love the light florals with violet leading from the front – starting off in black fruits, cherry (lots of cherry) with leafy herbals in support. Moves into a medium bodied, easy going tempo on the palate filled in by sweet fruit and spices with an enticing splash of pepper. Tannins remain friendly and supple as does the wine.
