Hewitson Strawberry Hills Shiraz 2023

Share

The Strawberry Hills Shiraz is a special cuvée, named after the old strawberry patch that still grows among the Shiraz vines and made only in exceptional years. And the 2023 is a special wine from a cool year that allowed for a long and even ripening season. The concentrated fruit shows in the glass, with attractive aromas of blackberry, raspberry and plum, and creamy vanilla leading into a plush, rich palate. Acidity brings drive and freshness, while the tannins are supple, seamless and finely woven. This is classic Dean: generous, polished, and absolutely cracking.
