Terre à Terre Wines Piccadilly Rosé 2019

Rosé is often not taken seriously enough. Yes, it can be bright, fresh and made to drink young but then wines like this come along – which really need some time to show their best, and a plate of food.

It is a pale salmon pink in colour and has touches of Summer and Autumn. There are crushed raspberry and strawberry aromas which are topped by layers of autumn leaves, spice and cedary oak. It is bone dry, and then quite serious and mouthfilling on the palate with powerful fruit, oak and earthy flavours plus a very long finish. More than most Rosé, it really needs a couple of years to hit its peak and is built for charcuterie.
