Ottelia Pinot Gris 2025

Moreish, fresh, weirdly nostalgic of springtime, a park bench, and an apple in hand. Did that ever actually happen? No clue. But the wine makes me believe it did. Shaved pear skin, crunchy green apples, dessert limes (google if you must). Soft, generous palate, snapped into line with quenching acid, and even palate weight. Underneath: chamomile oil, candle wax, dirty martini, poetry. It’s calm but assertive — the wine as a whole makes me want to buy a house in the country. Drink now. A great example of Pinot Gris, and modern-day drinking.
