Planted high in the Eden Valley at 450m comes this generous and modern example of Eden Valley Shiraz. It is bright and deeply coloured with luscious blackberry jam and licorice fruits plus that Eden Valley hit of earth, violets and spice with reserved oak. It is then dry, fleshy and supple with open-knit tannins that provide good aging potential. The wine radiates with Barossan richness but retains that Eden delicacy and complexity. Great wine that I reckon will gain more layers and interest with time in the cellar.
