Sourced from one site within Marnong Estate’s place in Victoria’s Sunbury region northwest of Melbourne, this is a quite compact Pinot Noir, black cherry fruit and wafts of crushed granites wrapped together, a faint suggestion of musk stick as well. GIve it some air and more aromatic favours reveal themselves. It’s lightly touched, soft and juicy, some pretty spice and pepper joining the finishing party. Svelte.
