Tim Knappstein and son Nick tap into a special set of Adelaide Hill vineyards for their Riposte portfolio, this from the central districts of the region at Woodside, harvested to showcase enticing poached Satsuma plum bouquet and flavours with a faint waft of sawmill elements. The palate has a delicious group hug of dark fruit sweetness and juicy acidity with black peppery spice – all the good things in eloquent harmony.
