Classified within the Finisterre range defines this as a specially selected single variety/ single vineyard iteration, which in this case is an 80-year-old Blewitt Springs bush vine site – none better in terms of McLaren Vale status. What we see here is a focus on specific varietal and terroir purity, perfumed with a tarragon/ lavender fragrance to start, flowing into the tasting window with a spicy, tangy palate edge, comfortably medium weighted plus a subtle saline feel in the finish. Everything going on with glorious McLaren Vale Grenache personality in spades.
