Robert Oatley GSM 2019

Share

Sitting within the Robert Oatley Signature Series Range, there’s plenty to love about this Grenache (48%), Shiraz (42%) and 10% Mourvèdre (aka Mataro) blend from more southern McLaren Vale district sources. All the parts come together with a delightful synergy: fragrant with a dried herb bass line over which rises a prettier lavender perfume note. Thankyou Grenache, it’s a pleasure! The drinking echoes such fair beauty with delicious fruit, sweet pipe tobacco suggestions, and a fine sieved earthy expression of smartly toned tannin extraction. Incredibly approachable and terrific value.
