40% Grenache 30% Shiraz and 30% Mataro. Red delicious apple skin, Morello cherries and blackberries. A hibiscus floral note with hints of balsamic and pomegranate molasses. Terra cotta clay, porcini mushroom and undergrowth. There is astute acidity and fine silty tannins that build over the palate. A warming spice thread runs through the finish. Still, plenty of bright fruit here with Christmas spices and ability to age another 1-3 years. Serve with char grilled lamb ribs.
