Seppeltsfield Single Vineyard 21 Year Old Para Tawny 2000

Share

This Tawny Port is absolutely at the peak of its powers, although will no doubt remain there for some time to come. Ruby amber in colour there is fantastic aromatic complexity – Christmas cake, florals, spice and still plenty of red fruits in play. Touches of earth and baked almonds also add an attractive savoury edge. The palate is then pure silk with vanilla and creme brûlée flavours over dark, spicy fruits before a long, and mouthfilling finish. Crack this with the best hard cheese you can find.
