Seppeltsfield ‘The Westing’ Barossa Shiraz 2019

Share

You don’t often see single vineyard wines from Rosedale in the Barossa, although the region is vital for many well known wines from producers such as St Hallett. It’s the hottest part of the Barossa so if big and bold is what you are looking for then this wine delivers. Deeply coloured and your classic fleshy no holds barred Barossan delivering massive concentration of blackberry, blueberry and cherry liqueur with a dusting of spice. The palate is then round and ripe with flashy fruit and quite a firm tannic grip. It’s a little hard right now so give it time to settle down before settling in with a Tomahawk steak.
