Serafino Wines Black Label Shiraz 2020

Captures so much of what McLaren Vale is all about. Lifted notes of florals and dark chocolate with a subtle spicy licorice infusion. There are some decent deep black fruit characters in here, merged well with the fine grained oak. A slightly powdery tannin contribution adds to its structure and poise. That oak has a subtle addition of American to the French component and it brings another sweet fruit dimension.
