Sidewood Mappinga Shiraz 2022

Share

Sourced from Sidewood’s Nairne vineyard, this is deemed to be the first organic wine in the stable. It’s quite tight and shy at first opening, but wait a while and lovely things start to happen, dark fruits and exotic spices appear from within, a herbal feel in the anise notes, and again Hills-force pepperiness from a cooler season is not out of place. It’s only the beginning for this wine – give it five years and the promise of much more to come will be revealed.
