A blend of eight communes, this is a richly crafted style with dark fruits, subtle orange notes as well with faint chocolate elements at the start. Those characterful accents rise at first taste before its essential juiciness comes to the fore, with tannins that suggest peppery spices, and a savoury finish that seems a little reserved but tempts another pour.
