Ripe black cherries, mulberry and cassis. Some pencil box, dried oregano and crushed clove. The palate is assertive with grainy tannins, begging for a dark cool place to mellow and some fine lines of acidity. Oak is brown spiced but sits well with the wine, making it toothsome and refined. This is full of class and has been treated with great respect. This will age beautifully for another 8-10 years and stand as classic beauty. Serve with equally traditional Beef Wellington.
