This Cabernet Sauvignon is still in its prime with that capsicum-like opening. Then, aromas of black currant, prunes, crushed violets, cloves, charred wood, and roasted coffee beans push forward. The palate is enjoyably refreshing, the tannins are quite supple, and sweet spices melt nicely in the fruit. It’s in a good zone for plenty of enjoyment.
