Tudor Central Victorian Shiraz 2017

Looking for something a bit different to your classic Southern Australian Shiraz? Then look no further than The Tudor from Central Victoria. With a long list of awards and trophies under its belt, it has almost a cult following due to its complexity and great drinkability, year in and out.

2017 is a classic vintage, but it does take a couple of hours to come out of its shell. Then it opens with fantastic aromatics although in an elegant style with mulberry, spice, earth and black olive fruit aromas which are followed by a dry and quite fleshy palate all underpinned by some supple tannins. It’s only mid weight and almost silky but has fruit concentration and lingering fruit to finish. It’s the Shiraz for Pinot Noir fans looking for something a little more subtle than the typically big, sweet Aussie Shiraz style. Exclusive to ALDI.
