Here’s the thing. Make sure you give this a decent splash in a decanter. It will open things up to reveal those dark fruits and rich dark chocolate characters. The palate is dense and supersaturated with ripe black fruits, coffee grounds and shavings of dark chocolate. It’s a firm and bold wine that will handle a little time in the cellar.
