The Serata is a blend of Shiraz, Montepulciano and Aglianico, the three grapes melding very well together. The first note I picked up was dark and delicious mulberry, alongside strawberry, tangy boysenberry, blueberry and black cherry, with bottle age adding milk chocolate, cigar box, and dried red and black fruits. The palate is inky and rich, with drying tannins and an abundance of flavour, which lasts for a long time.
