Airlie Bank White Pinot Noir 2024

This is a fun project where Pinot Noir is made in a dry white wine. At first glance, it has a lovely pinkish, coppery hue. The nose is reminiscent of a Blanc de Noirs sparkling with white cherries, white strawberries, and red currants at their early ripening stage. A touch of oxidation is coming through, like burnt apples; it’s toasted nuts. It has an interesting, pillowy texture. The oxidative character is stronger on the palate, masking the fruit profile.
