Andrew Peace Australia Felix Sagrantino 2016

Share

Sagrantino is a warrior grape variety that thrives in hot and dry climates, where many others would fail. So you can guarantee there will be more of it around in the coming years as the climate changes, making it a grape worth getting to know.

This is a typically bold style of sagrantino with dense and juicy mulberry fruits topped up with violets, spice and baked earth plus some toasty oak. It is ripe and generous in the mouth with a clear suitability to flavoursome meaty dishes. It also has that classic sagrantino acid kick plus supple tannins to finish.

This is a big and bold red for sure with the balance to drink well for another five years.
