Andrew Peace Wines Swan Hill Shiraz 2019

Share

Twenty five years is a long time in the wine game with this wine coming from Andrew Peace’s 25th vintage. It is only right that this commemorative wine comes from the region of Swan Hill which is this brand’s spiritual home.

It is deeply coloured and immediately displays hallmarks of wines from a warm climate with its deep colour combined with rich and vibrant dark plummy fruit on top of which are touches of dark cherry and spice. It’s a big red on the palate – bone dry and full-bodied with layers of plush dark fruits and liquorice supported by supple tannins and finishing with decent length too. A fitting wine to celebrate 25 years and also a great match with flame-grilled rump steak.
