Auld Family Wines William Patrick Shiraz 2018

Share

This impressive 2018 Barossa Shiraz delivers robust and youthful aromas of chocolate, blackberry and licorice, a sweet oak backbone well placed. A big dense style to follow – coal fire, tarry complexity followed by chocolate truffles. This is quite an immense wine but also keeps its shape while firm tannins drive an exceptionally long finish sharpened up a flick of acidity. It needs a little time to come together.
