Tapping into vineyards across Tasmania, this from the valleys of Coal River and Derwent districts north and northwest of Hobart. Built to a varietal style, darker cherries and kitchen herb aromas plus dark rose before the palate receives some complexity with wooded spice notes that add texture as well as a sweet spot mid-length, a soft, feathery feel in the denouement. It all comes together as a logical and finished expression.
