One of Australia’ most famous wines and from a tricky vintage, but the long Indian summer allowed the fruit to ripen nicely. It is generous but more in the medium bodied zone. Loads of lifted blackberry and blackcurrant on the nose gliding into the palate with dark chocolate richness and a subtle leafiness. Fine sinewy tannins and neat oak has added a final polish to the wine.
