Biscay Road Shiraz 2023

Stunning value here with this cracking Barossa Shiraz. Again, we have the wine spending around a year and a half in French oak puncheons. An opaque maroon colour, with the nose exhibiting notes of plums, blackberries, spices, delicatessen meats, a hint of well-integrated oak, black cherries, tobacco leaves and chocolate. Neatly balanced, with a supple texture and very good length, the wine finishes with sleek tannins. Seriously good value, this is for enjoying over the next six to ten years.
