Burton McMahon George’s Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021

Share

You can not help but be impressed by this wild and inviting Yarra Pinot Noir. Pale cherry red in colour, it opens with perfumed aromas of stalks, wild raspberry, dried herbs and star anise. The wine then goes down a more savoury line with flavours of undergrowth, meat and spice before layers of cherry and cranberry return with a subtle stalky grip before a lingering, almost haunting finish. A lovely wine that is already drinking well but will get better.
