Castle Rock Skywalk Riesling 2023

Named after the lookout on the side of the actual Castle Rock, the fruit is a blend from all of the estate blocks. Some pressings are included in this wine. Fermentation is in stainless steel. The colour is a near invisible, green/yellow. The nose gives us notes of minerals, florals and citrus, with the backing of river stones. We have a mix of dry herbs and garden fresh, as well. A lovely young Riesling, clean and fresh with a crisp, dry finish with decent length. Enjoy this now and for the next five years, while some of the other Castle Rock Rieslings come around, though if you prefer, this will easily do more time in the cellar.
