Château La Sauvegarde 2022

Share

From vigneron Sebastien Petit’s vineyard in the Entre-Deux-Mers district of Bordeaux, this is a quite traditional Merlot/ Cabernet Sauvignon duet, black fruited aromatics with subtle dark mint chocolate and cedary oak all linked in the nose and palate, the top notes to a classic Claret-like palate, fine tannins in tonal balance and finishing with a savoury focus rather than dominating sweetness. Good Bordeaux character and styling, with promising cellaring potential.
