Chateau Tanunda Grand Barossa Shiraz 2020

Share

2020 was not the easiest vintage in the Barossa Valley which makes this wine a particularly good effort. Deeply coloured, it is a plump and open knit style – you might even call it cuddly – with layers of earthy, blackberry and chocolate with a healthy dose of vanillin oak in the background. It follows with a strongly regional palate showing plenty of earth and black pepper spice with soft and fleshy tannins before finishing with decent length. It’s a good everyday Barossan to enjoy over the next five years.
