Chateau Yaldara Chalice Shiraz 2020

Another supremely polished Shiraz, stacked with dark plum, blackberry and a little licorice and prune. The palate is the feature of this wine with a gravelly texture, fine grained oak and chalky, slightly sinewy tannins holding the focus. There is a real sense of the soil here and it’s captured so brilliantly. Notes of sage and black pepper add the final touch. Impressive stuff.
